This spiky urchin can be used as a jewelry dish, salt cellar, spice container, to hold a votive or as as decorative sculpture.
Each piece was handmade and thrown on a pottery wheel, trimmed when leather hard, porcelain slip applied to the exterior surface, then bisque and glaze fired to cone 10 reduction. I make each piece individually.
All the photos in this listing are the exact piece that will ship.
The glaze on each handmade piece is unique due to the natural variation in the clay and the firing.
These handmade pieces can range approximately 1/4” in width and/or height.
